Tanat - Kamavindi
This washed SL-28, produced at an altitude of 1700m by Peter Mbature, perfectly embodies the expression of Kenyan terroir. In the cup, the profile is juicy, vibrant and intensely aromatic, carried by the crisp acidity that makes the best washed coffees from Kenya so renowned.
It is uncommon to find single varietals from Kenya and even rarer to get to try coffees from a single estate, so despite this appearing to be a regular washed Kenya this is quite a special coffee!
The first sips reveal bold notes of blueberry and blackcurrant, reminiscent of fresh, vibrant dark fruits. The finish lingers with a delicate hint of chamomile, adding a subtle floral touch that balances the coffee's liveliness.
An expressive and terroir-driven batch, ideal for lovers of washed Kenyan coffees.
