People Possession - Elto Elora : Washed
Elto Elora from People Possession is a washed lot from the high- altitude Arbegona region in Sidama. The flavour profile combines plum, grapefruit peel, and black tea, giving the coffee a juicy, elegantly bittersweet taste with a delicate tea-like structure.
Behind this lot are producers Eliyas Dukamo and Atiklit Dejene, who work with specialty coffee in one of the most interesting parts of Sidama.
The washed processing here plays to the advantage of the cup's purity and complexity. Carefully and selectively harvested cherries of local varieties 74112 and 74110 undergo a classic washed process, where after hulling they are fermented, mechanically washed, and then dried until they reach the ideal moisture content.
This approach brings out the natural character of high-altitude Sidama – bright acidity, tea-like elegance, and a plum-citrus note that makes Elto Elora a washed Ethiopian coffee with a distinctive but beautifully balanced character.
This coffee is Omni roasted so suitable for filter and espresso brewing.
